Our investigation has confirmed that there was an attempt to disrupt certain systems resulting in a breach of certain customer personal data. At this stage, there is no evidence of misuse of the information on any forum and neither has the information been made public.

1. What happened?
On 28th of October 2025, we detected unusual activity in a portion of our IT systems. We immediately initiated our internal response procedures and engaged external specialists to assist with assessment and remediation.
2. Was customer information affected?
There is a possibility that certain customer personal data including name, contact number, email, mailing address and possibly IC numbers were involved in the incident. We have secured the affected IT systems, implemented additional safeguards and are providing this notification to you so that you are made aware and can take any precautionary measures, if required.
3. What steps has Federal Auto Holdings Berhad taken to date?
We have contained the affected IT systems and strengthened the security controls and protocols, engaged independent cybersecurity specialists, enhanced monitoring across our environment and escalated the matter to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as required.
4. What should customers do?
As a precaution, we encourage customers to remain attentive to unexpected communications and avoid sharing personal information through unofficial channels.
